Aiming to exist in harmony with the environment and local communities, we conduct social contribution activities that are mainly focused on environmental conservation, such as forest preservation and beach cleanup. We also provided educational support for coming generations by funding an endowed chair on oil exploration at the University of Tokyo for five years beginning in April 2013. Moreover, we grant scholarships for foreign students studying in Japan and accept trainees from the national oil companies of countries in which we operate.
